Wilfried Bony 2015/2016 Performances

I've maintained all season that he will be the biggest benefactor from Pep coming in. Pep will use him properly and not ask him to play the same role Aguero does when he's clearly not capable of doing so. I still believe this to be the case if he stays but I'm no longer convinced he'll get an opportunity, I think we will have been looking for a taker for months now and he will be gone at the first offer we get. Whoever he ends up at, he'll inevitably return to being the striker he was whilst at Swansea.
I also had high hopes for him when he first signed, but he has failed to impress. In his defence, he's another who's just never seemed to get going because of injury in the main. What has also disappointed me is the lethargy he's shown when he has been given the chance, but tbf I could say the same for many of the squad too.

Its a choice we have to make in the summer, cut our losses or see what Pep can do with him. I'm cool either way and I trust those in charge to make the correct call.

I'll always remember the delusion of Bony when he scuffed a incredibly jammy goal and then went to the corner flag, back to the fans and pointed to his name on his shirt.

I remember saying out loud 'Seriously Bony? Seriously?"
