Good signing, I'm impressed with his attitude and personality as well from what I've been reading about him. Aguero, Dzeko, Bony, 3 proper strikers, allowing Jovetic to be sold to release hopefully £20million back into the accounts either this month or in the summer.
I'm worried about his "attitude and personality" , daft as it sounds, because of those blue sparkly shoes and the rest of his outfit. It suggests a 'me, me' attitude that I thought we'd eliminated with Balotelli. Hope I'm wrong , and the lad won a bet for charity with his ridiculous clobber.

Frankly I'd be more worried if he turned up at the airport in sensible clothing, dressing like a melon seems to be a given for footballers these days.

Read this for a bit of insight into his character: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...Bony-interview-Why-I-Swanseas-Daddy-Cool.html

Bony, therefore, will become the club’s 11th centre forward signed at a combined cost of about £275m since the takeover of August 2008.

Proof, perhaps, that the more some things change, the more they stay the same

At a guess : Jo, Santa Cruz, Bellamy, Robinho, Adebayor, Tevez, Balotelli, Aguero, Dzeko, Negredo, Jovetic? Although technically some of them aren't centre forwards.

I concede football is mostly about opinions, but no way would I sell Jovetic in any respect and if a striker had to make way it’d be Dzeko.

We need proper footballers, players who can control the ball and have the movement and intelligence to contribute to our general build up play. Aguero, Jovetic and Bony (if we sign him) will give us that, Dzeko doesn't/won't. He's proved himself in the box as a good goal scorer, but against teams who play 10 in defence like Sunderland did we need players who can drop deep and interchange with attacking midfielders and full backs to pull defences apart.

I'm sorry, but imo Dzeko just doesn't suit our style of play or formation, Bony on the other hand would/will.
You would keep Jovetic over Dzeko? Your username is appropriate.
So everyone is talking serious football, and with nothing useful to add you resort to play ground levels of conversation just to feel relevant. Nickelodeon have a site where I reckon your level of intelligence would be just about accepted.

Give it a try and leave the adults to discuss football..... http://www.nick.co.uk

Kepping Dzeko ahead of Jovetic makes more sense to me,after all,we are purchasing because we are struggling in this area. While Jovetic certainly has his worth.....he isn't a true centre forward, unfortunately for him though, his midfield colleagues are generally superior.

He would definitely be my choice if a sale was required, but only if.

I think this is a fantastic bit of business.

What does concern me, is that we are buying a striker, because we only have 3 strikers, and then you lot are deciding whether to let Dzeko or Jovetic go...

Yes Bony's injury record looks good, but it only takes one bad tackle, and we are back where we were...

I think people are being a little short sighted. Buying Bony now, fixes the immediate problem, however leave the Dzeko / Jovetic debate till the summer when it wont be over-inflated January fees and we can actually see who has done what over the season.

I'd keep Jovetic and sell Dzeko. Bony replaces the need for Dzeko imo. Jovetic is similar to Isco and should be played behind a main striker (Aguero or Bony).
