Any player can get an injury any time. All I'm saying is that the next few weeks are fairly light and there is plenty of rest time between games for all the squad and not just Milner. If the boss is truthful when he says he was out with a slight knock, we will just have to accept it as that but you know what will happen the next time the squad is named, all eyes will be focused on Jimmy and his part in it whether that be a place in the team or a seat on the bench, or his absence if that is the case.Ray78 said:I'm no cynic said:That's a weak excuse. It's 6 days since our last game, it's 8 days to the next one, the next is 6 days later, and the next one 7 days after that. And that's the lot for January. There's plenty of rest time between games. Whatever happened to the argument that players preferred games rather than training?Ray78 said:Not worth the risk with two crucial games against Arsenal and Chelsea.
And if Milner picked up an injury in the Everton game and the same supporters would be complaining about why he was risked. Getting back on topic. today's game has shown why we are going to sign the Bony.
But returning to subject, I agree, Bony will be a stunning signing for us.
