I always think calling someone a child is a childish thing to do. It's what people who don't have the competence to form an actual argument do, to try and self validate and give off a perception that they know best.

Who's to say Bony would even score for us? He plays in a different team, his scoring record is no way near good enough to warrant a £30m price tag. We'd get Cavani for a similar amount, and he wouldn't be fucking off to play in Africa every other year! When Bony gets back from Africa Aguero and Dzeko will be back playing so whats the point? I'd sooner sign Berahino or Austin to fill the void if necessary. Until we can get a world class player rather than someone who's had a good year.

I think a lot of members on this forum need to think more logically about things like this.
Bony's career;

231 games
119 goals

Shows no sign of slowing down this season after a 25 goal season last year as well

In England his record is 34 goals in 70.

Not good enough for £30m.

That's a good record tbh

But surely the point is that we need a striker like a whore needs a cock and from what I've seen Bony looks like he has quick feet and can a job for us so what's the issue?

So a 1 in 2 scoring record isn't worth 30m. When he also has physicality and power and is better than Dzeko who cost 27m.

I think you are wumming.

He's a very good player but he is not better than Dzeko.

I like Edin..but it's difficult to compare them both..totally different types of strikers IMO

Yep, one is weak as fuck considering his size and cant trap a bag of cement.

I disagree, I definitely think Bony is better, Bony is so strong and good in the air, which pretty much is the only noteable attributes Dzeko have, Bony is more complete in many ways.

I agree that they are different types of strikers but it's a bit rich to use goal scoring records to justify signing Bony but ignore Edin's.

Dzeko is one of the leading PL goals to game ratio strikers.

Dzeko has fired two teams to league titles in two of the most demanding European leagues.

Dzeko has scored the goals that took Bosnia to the World Cup.

But yet people mention him as if he is on par with Samaras and Corradi.

Maybe Bony will be better suited to our system than Edin. Maybe Bony will go on to score more goals than Edin, but at this moment in time Edin is the better player.

I know stats cannot be relied upon to tell the whole story, but seeing as you are using them;

Bony has a better goals per game ratio over his career, and this season, with the same number of appearances Bony has more than twice the goal per game ratio. So, especially at this moment in time there is only one conclusion to draw.

I see Dzeko has had a few mentions. Still don't understand the hate (I think fans even loathe the guy) for Dzeko. I can only think that people made their minds up early about him and can't let go.

I can't see that Bony is worth £30m, but if the club decide he is, then crack on.

Bosnian by any chance?
