They are businessmen and they want to maximise profit and there is no argument from me on that. All I'm suggesting is that as business people, they are fully aware of the ratio between supply and demand, and if the price is too high then demand will be low. FFP has created an artificial pricing structure that MAY mean an attendance less than the capacity, although on this occasion we may just get by. And besides, does anybody really think that the only reason the owners charge what they do is FFP? They are running a business not becoming superfans who delight inseeing all their money securing trophies. The huge investment has been to get us to the top table, we are now expected to fund staying there, albeit with increased income from being a global 'brand' and having lots more fans who want to follow an attrctive and successful PL team.
