This is the biggest game in our recent history in regard to status of opposition, for sure it will sell out. It is also the most expensive home ticket we have ever had to fork out for. With Christmas only just gone, the cost of attending matches, especially this season, as we are still in 4 comps, will mean that many loyal blues simply cannot afford the minimum £50 for this game. I will be there but there may come a time when I can't afford to be and I've been going 40 years. We have waited many many years dreaming of games like this. I just hope our owners keep the future ticket pricing realistic to allow the loyal working class hard core supporters to carry on attending. After all, it was the size of our fanbase and potential that attracted ADUG to invest in us and I hope they don't overlook us for the deeper pocketed glory hunters like manure did across town!
If it wasn't for Platini's FFP rules, ticket prices would be cheaper and the game would already be sold out.
No it wouldn't. It's still only on sale to ST holders at the moment.

And besides, does anybody really think that the only reason the owners charge what they do is FFP? They are running a business not becoming superfans who delight inseeing all their money securing trophies. The huge investment has been to get us to the top table, we are now expected to fund staying there, albeit with increased income from being a global 'brand' and having lots more fans who want to follow an attrctive and successful PL team.

They are businessmen and they want to maximise profit and there is no argument from me on that. All I'm suggesting is that as business people, they are fully aware of the ratio between supply and demand, and if the price is too high then demand will be low. FFP has created an artificial pricing structure that MAY mean an attendance less than the capacity, although on this occasion we may just get by. With a true price that matches the ratio between supply and demand, a full house would be guaranteed for this game.

£50 for our biggest European game in history isn't bad, they couldn't charge that for group matches. United charge as much for capital one matches !!!

Is this on sale to S Card holders - for my lads?

Our website is a joke re tickets, can anyone please post a link as I have given up trying to find it,chs in advance.

Im on Cup scheme but no money has come out,has everyone elses?

Edit: Just booked by ringing ticket line but seats all over due to going Blue Card tomoz, really shit that as not sat with my youngest now.
If it wasnt for Bluemoon I would have not known they were on sale.

Surely they can keep something on the website or an email,I get enough emails begging me to buy Blackburn tickets...do the same for this City!

I've got more chance of the away leg 800 miles away at the moment than this one thanks to some Spanish pals..... Games like this are going to come thick and fast from now on, get that expansion built City !

We'll all pay £50 and £25 for juniors then sit next to people who get tickets for free through the schools because they can't shift them. Happens every European game.

I work in London during the week. Train fares and hotels went through the roof as soon as the fixture was set and I'm reading numerous Tweets and Facebook posts from Blues eager to get their hands on a ticket.

I don't think FFP sets the pricing structure. They want to maximise their revenue and this means seeing how far they can stretch our wallets. You are right that they need to get the price pitched right to maximise recenue but this counts irrespective of FFP. If we sell all our tickets quickly then this tells everyone that we can withstand a further price hike. They have already guaranteed x thousand sales by cleverly introducing cup schemes, which means they will sell these tickets no matter what price they pitch the game at. I have mixed feelings about all of this, as success will inevitably mean that we become a more attractive proposition to spectators with deeper pockets.

Have to be tickets available to non season card holders. Blue membership with 1500 points I reckon.

I Bloody hope not, ive got 1000 points and hope it goes to Wednesday, will be fuming if not !

So, starts today with 2500 points for Blue Card holders. That's quite a lot of points to have over a number of years, I'd guess not loads of Blue Card holders are in that territory. I irritatingly have 1470 so just miss tomorrow. If only for the last 5 years I had got my Fulham away tickets off the club and not Fulham for the neutral end then id be sorted. Schoolboy. Think come Weds morn it could be a bit of a bunfight for the last few remaining seats.

I was on the phone for 45 minutes on Saturday in the queue for Barca tickets

I think it's safe to say this will sell out

I had a prob with my debit card on Cup scheme and rang to check my seat was still available and it had gone already...cant believe anyone thinks this would not sell out.

Jamie in the customer services was a star in sorting me out though,my lads would have not spoken to me if I had not sorted tickets for this one after all the shit they have taken in their early lives over City.

So us fans will be fighting tooth and nail come midweek for the last few seats available to 'US'. However come match day the ground will be half full of tourists that just want to see barca. Where the hell do they get there tickets from with seamless ease?

I think very poor that there is nothing substantial remaining on the website about them going on sale but I have had 2 emails about Blackburn!

If not for Bluemoon I would have missed probably our biggest game of my lifetime(in PR terms)after following them everywhere for 35 years of utter shite.

Needs sorting this.
