Will Mancini be sacked if we lose tonight?

It´s a bit funny that many think that Abu Dhabi will make the decision, which sounds very unlikely given that they put Soriano in charge just to handle stuff like that.
They are by no means hands-on owners.
They never sacked Hughes or employed Mancini either, that was Garry Cook actually.

I presume bobby picks the teams and decides the tactics, makes the substitutions and organises the defending of set pieces so on those points alone I'd say he's on thin ice.
Simple statistic:- Kun and Carlos have started 12 games together, Of those 12 games we have won them all, and they have scored 21 goals in the process. Biggest game of the season so far her chooses to start the soap opera that is Balotelli. That alone is a sacking offense for me!

You are being emotional have a beer.

Keep in mind that I am not saying this over 1 day result.

I was thinking of the line ups this season and we played Arsenal, Chelsea, and utd w/o our best possible line up why does mancini keep on gambling...
last seasons last six games we went unchanged with tev and kun upfront and we won all
won every game they started even there first game against wigan
why was kun on the bench against everton if he wasnt playing mid week he is certainly better than Dzeko.
why not start tev against Dortmund, Madrid, Arsenal Chelsea and today
why

Why was Khaldoon lunching with RM in Italy days before Hughes went? Plus he said that appointing RM was his decision and he would go resign if it turned out wrong?

I think you´ll find that Mancini and Cook met frequently long before that..In Milano almost a year earlier for example.

After all the Chelsea happenings do you think that the board may finally decide they want to go another route? I surely hope not but football is a funny old game.

I want him out in the summer - but this is just a ludicrous post.

My understanding is that the board had decided to sack Hughes in the summer. He had found out they were lining up another manager (after Hiddink's agent went public) and effectively told them to back him or sack him. So they needed someone pretty quickly and Mancini was available. Once Mancini had agreed (with the proviso that he might only be there or 6 months) they could sack Hughes.
