Will people cut the Robbie crap?

There's a lot of people with short memories on here mate.
It's the same crap with Kompany - all of a sudden he's not good enough to be in this City squad, yet last season he was one of our best players along with Robbie & Ireland!!!

Kompany is crap, hits passes at 100mph and makes clumsy challenges, nothing like De Jong

I think when Robbie is fit he will kick on from last season which he was flop in if you read some reports
So I hope he is a bigger flop this season than last

i still laugh at reading the end of season reports in the papers. failure of the the season robinho 14 goals.

if he'd been anywhere else, the story would have been very different.

He was walking wounded for half of last season. I think for a player playing with a pretty uncomfortable injury for a footballer, he did remarkably well.

I also think he has the potential to be top class, but needs a long run of games injury free, which he's struggled with throughout his career.

Why have people started to say he is leaving? He's been injured. He is class. Him and Ireland linking up is awesome. Some heads need to be wobbled.

I think it's pretty straightforward - if Barca want Robbie bad enough - we'll have to let him go. In the grand scheme of things, it's pretty difficult to keep hold of a player who Barca want, and who wants to go to Barca...

Fair dos. Just think its a bit premature to write him off at the moment, but thats never stopped some people before. He should stay here though. He still has a lot to add t the team and if we're gonna be top dogs then we can't let people like him leave.

I hear ya - and I really do hope he stays! Unfortunately I've got a bad feeling about this now. The only silver lining would be if we managed to nab Ribery from under Madrid's nose...

we all know that Robinho is a class act, he was most peoples hero last season... at home he ran riot and bagged many goals and assists... pretty good for his 1st season in the Premiership... away from home was a different story altogether, our away record was abysmal anyway, and robinho was pretty much non-existant in most of those away games... when we were chasing the ball/game we needed a tevez or bellamy to put the graft in and make that 11th man count....

robinho is a very gifted and unique player, and he has a big place in our team, however a regular starting place he is not guarenteed (as with most players these days).... he offers a superb option to hughes' plans whether its from kick off or off the bench...

i personally think he is a difficult player to fit into a starting lineup week-in week-out, i think he should be used as a "super-sub" type role for turning games when his magic is needed, and started from kick-off when the time or fixture is right for him.... however i dont think he'll be happy with this, as we've already seen when he was at Madrid...

there is definitely more to come from him, he's not even played a game yet in his 2nd season due to injury... if he falls out of favour then there is no doubt in my mind that he'll be on his way out... i personally can see this happening... and if it does well it would be a shame to see such a class-act leave city, but he is definitely replaceable in my opinion...
