Will prices ever drop

Just had the rep from my sugar supplier in. We do a contract from Oct 1st each year. 2 years ago sugar was around £400 a tonne. The current contract is £800 and just been told from Oct 1st it will be between £950 and £1050 a tonne!!!!
I get through about 80 tonnes a year. My other raw material is glucose. This has gone up by 300% in years and continues to rise.
Yowser...

Sweet tooth ?

I did my protest with 7/11.
They doubled their takeaway coffee from $1 to $2.
So $700 a year to $1400. Plus we sometimes bought a bran muffin or doughnuts.
Don't go in at all now.
Cunts.

I have NO brand loyalty I will not buy from a company that sees me merely as a piggy bank, obviously water rates etc are out of my ability to change.

Cutting my cloth is easy for me, it's the families and small businesses that are feeling the pinch, the cycle will continue where people get raises and good we use and buy go up in price.

Hopefully in the future, the war in the Ukraine will end and inflation drop etc but will prices ever come down, we paid £6.10 for a pint in Manchester on Saturday!!! if people have been paying this no way pubs start dropping their prices, same with food in the supermarkets, the massive profits they are making, no way they suddenly drop prices by 100%, if they can get away with it now then I certainly don’t see them passing savings on to customers as it will almost be the norm. Unlike say petrol were there is a degree of been able to see prices going up and down with the markets, food and drink doesn’t seem to be the same.
Nothing ever gets cheaper

Besides council tax everyone's wage goes to stinking rich arseholes with massive yachts and private jets.
Everything is privatized.
Rich fuckers own everything. And we're supplementing their mega wealth.
