Will they fire Mancini?

OK None of you are gonna say it then i will. The rags are in all honesty lucky to be on the top of the table they don't deserve it.I fucking hate them, how many times do they score in the last minutes of games that they don't deserve to win and on top of that decisions go there way and on top of that which ever team they play suddenly has a dip in form or forget how to play football or on that day there key players are missing or injured for some reason.i was watching the game they played in swansea and i remember sinclare missing a golden opportunity to score with a open goal in front of him i mean come on and when they meet a good side for example bilbao they got outplayed.

Another reason why he shouldn't go:

Does anyone on here honestly think that the addition of Nasri and Clichy has made us progress so much this year?

In the summer we didn't buy Aguero to play with Tevez, we bought him as a replacement. Now, many on here would argue that right now, Tevez is better than Aguero, am I right in thinking that? (As in a fully fit Tevez) So you could say that our strike-force has in no way improved since last season in terms of depth and quality?

So our only 2 genuine first team "addtions" (not replacements) are Nasri and Clichy.

Many think Nasri has been too much of a shitbag and not done enough, and we can hardly say Clichy has had a massive effect on our defense (it was still very good last year).

So with a squad that is almost identical to last year, it is clear to see how much we've improved purely down to time and continuity, and i'd expect the same to happen again next year with Mancini still in charge.

Sweet Jesus, that's a horse's arse of a post if you don't mind me saying.

He should stay because his signings have failed?

Go to Specsavers. What he is saying is that as compared to last year, the new signings havent improved the squad that much but yet we played wonderful football and were top for most of the season. He says that this improvement came with continiuity under Mancini which we should maintain into next season as well. "Horses Ass" of a post indeed. What a idiot.

Very much this. I've seen plenty of threads and comments on Nasri to suggest that people don't think he's done enough. This isn't to say he's been a bad signing (yet) as he deserves more than 1 season to be judged. While Clichy has done well, you wouldn't put our overall improvement this year purely down to him would you?

We have got significantly better this season with pretty much the same team as last year. I was making a point that time and continuity brings improvement and there's clear evidence of that this season.

Good point but Clichy has been a fantastic signing and one of our most consistent players this season. When others have bounced in and out of form, he's always been reliable and only really had one or two dodgy games.

Would agree with this, still think he needs replacing though, would be a great back up.

One great ex-player, and very good manager recently said of Mancini:

"I dont understand how a manager can go entire season seeking out his best formation and starting XI are, and that is where City's recent struggles are".

To be honest, this might have some merit.

I'd be very surprised if Mancini went at the end of the season even if we capitulate and finish with no trophies. They know full well that we've improved after last season with the consecutive home wins, cricket scores at U****d and Spurs or general entertaining play. If we finish 2nd then we've improved on last season and pushed U****d all the way to the title.

I think the only thing that would result in Mancini's departure would be Mourinho approaching City and advertising his availability. It's common knowledge he was looked at before Mancini was and his record in the Premiership and in Europe is proven. People harp on about Messi and Barcelona but Real Madrid are presently 10 points clear in La Liga having only dropped a handful of points all season. He's the best Manager in the world.
