Will tomorrow be an anti-climax?

right on the hompage to the city website it says "website launch 9am today" and i cant get on though its alreadt gone 10am same old city never on time, we best sign tevez today!!
 
I know it's only 10:38am now but I get the feeling that there won't be any "surprise" announcement today other than the new website and a press conference with RSC.

I had hoped that the Tevez deal is wrapped up today and officially announced but so far it doesn't look like it.
 
Surprise will be when we think we are getting our act together and no more t"ypical city", our 9am launch of new website fails so we are back to typical city lol.

With the owners saying he wants the best on and off the pitch i would be nervous if i was employed by city for the website
 
Press conference was not live and Hughes said no further movements on any of our targets - so yes an anti climax
 
As I said, no anti-climax if you hadn't got yourself worked up in to a frenzy over rumours & conjecture. Hope some people learn something from this.

Bang On The Money.

For anybody who has been a blue for 3 years plus, and is still expecting a thrill a minute, you have learned nothing.
 
In the end it was very much a let down for me.
Got up early to view the new web-site to find it was down. Yet others had seen it earlier?
Then managed to log on to the shop through one of the links on here.
Opened up two windows so I could buy son and daughter a shirt separately and get Doves tickets for the family when
someone cut the f'in electricity to the area!!!!!! That is the third time this year.
No internet or nowt, f'in frustrating. It's only just come back on.
 
Hughes has released a statement - no signings imminent still interested in Eto and Tevez. No mention of Lescott or anyone else. Its on the MEN website....

Nothing is happening today, I doubt anything will happen until the players start comming back for pre season training TBH. Most clubs and players dont like doing the big deals so early on in the window - the longer it goes on the more money they get.

Real and city have put the cat amongst the pigeons in this tranfer window. We have proof if we ever need it that money and potential are simply not enough to make the sort of players we want bea a path to our doors.
 
I must admit that I was actually looking forward to today, and thought there may be something in the rumours, but as cheesy pointed out above, if you have been a blue for 5 minutes, it must be extremely disappointing, but for us old boys (and girls) with 35 years plus service, its 'pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and start all over again' time!
These are still amazing times to be a Blue, so patience grasshoppers! CTID!
 
Argggg today is shit tbh should of stayed in bed, the new website don't work, rsc pc was crap and then to top it of hughes said we are way of eto'o and tevez lol

Personally I wasn't expecting much......... sure it would be nice to sign player X, Y and Z but these things will happen when they happen.

the Press conference was what I expected ..... the unveiling of RSC and Hughes playing his cards close to his chest

I was half expecting some problem with the OS ;-)

so all going to plan at the moment
 
Yes i can wait, after my Blue blood tranfusion some 33 years ago another couple of weeks of these bloody transfer saga's is shite all! Get a grip you flapping nonces, we've already got Barry and RSC and that's good enough for me for a while...
 
Was expecting something regarding the website and kit, but for obvious reasons this hasn't happened.

Maybe in the future when they announce something it'll be an exclusive video on the website and media outlets will have to link/stream from that, like when you see a clip on the news that says "courtesy of skysports"

Hughes being coy on tranfers is what I would expect - no point singing from the rooftops and setting yourself up for an *epic facepalm fail*
