If my math is correct (which it very well may not be) if we run the table and Liverpool drop 3 points (even if against Chelsea) we would be tied with them at the top and goal dif. would decide the title. Correct?

Yes.
And it's maths not math.

I think it might be arithmetic. ;-)

It's barm cakes!!

I'm not sure Chelsea losing helps us win the league, it helps in the race for runner up certainly, but Chelsea are away at Atletico on Tuesday, if they get anything resembling hope from that (win, draw or small defeat), I fancy they'll play a weakened team at Liverpool, with a view to getting to the CL final, its probably Mourinho's best hope of winning something now.

I don't think so. All of the three teams are within a whisker of winning it. Mourinho will be thinking beat
Liverpool and he is within touching distance of the title. I am not saying he wouldn't rather have the CL title - I am sure he would. But i can't see him giving up on the league when there's only 4 games to go and he's still right in it.

Morning after Sunderland wizzed off to Majorca to re charge emotional battery - flying back Monday morning for WBA game. Chelsea result has cheered me up. Let's hope Norwich take 3 points off the scousers.

I can see lfc slipping up I just can't see city winning the 5 they need to
We thought that after losing to Arsenal in 2012.

This will lift City. We are back in it. All we can do is win our games, and we're certainly capable of doing so.

Aguero will get better with every game, and if we can get past WBA, Silva, Toure and Navas may return.

If Liverpool win tomorrow and go 5 points clear and Chelsea get a result in Madrid in the week then I think Jose will play a weakened side against Liverpool, it wont be a team that will get battered but it will be a team with the likes of Schwarzer in net, no Hazard and Oscar, Ba up front etc..

If Jose can get Chelsea to a final of the Champions League he will take that as a good season, in fact they have every chance of winning that trophy this season with Mourinho in charge.

That would be great, but whatever we can go into the WBA game knowing it's still on

Liverpool have Chelsea (h), Palace (a), and Newcastle (h). If they drop points V Chelsea, I think they will unravel. Very much there's to lose, but 1 out of 2 have gone. The door all but slammed shut on Wednesday night, but it's just opened a crack now.
