Mourinho would accept losing the title to us. He might not like it, but given the parity in terms of wealth and squad depth, he could probably stomach it. Losing to Liverpool, however, would mean conceding the title to an apprentice and, indeed, to a club for whom he has little respect and a history of enmity. For those reasons I can't imagine him fielding anything but his strongest available team in a game which will be combustible.
Reading that has just reaffirmed my optimism regarding the state of play. I believe Chelsea will be fired up for the Liverpool game.

Defeats at Sunderland, Cardiff and Villa have done us.

If anything the past two results, dropping five points are what have done us, yet we're still, as of now in with a good shout.

Believe.

Please God I am wrong but if Liverpool were to pick any opponents tomorrow it would be Norwich City and if they were to pick any team to play on the last game of the season it would be Newcastle United.

I think fate has decreed with their lack of injuries, some favourable refereeing decisions and to be fair some excellent football that they will win the league.

Defeats at Sunderland, Cardiff and Villa have done us.

and i bet chelsea fans drooled at the thought of the 3 points they were going to take off sunderland in the run in

If Liverpool drop points tomorrow it gets very interesting..

They have a lot of young players in there team and it will be interesting to see how they cope with a bit of extra pressure..
Liverpool need an early goal. If they don't get it, the pressure will mount quickly

Their last away game at West Ham they were very poor.

bailed out to win it with a penalty if i recall

In a way you of course right the last two games are as important as the games I mentioned. However against Liverpool with a stronger referee we would have got a result. I put Sunderland partly down to injuries and as we saw tonight Sunderland deserve credit. The games I mention we lost to poor opponents.

Anyway I hope your faith is rewarded as will any City fan.

That why I'm happy Maureen (even though he is a douche himself) has come out and on live television taken the piss out of the referees looking after Liverpool this season and giving the big decisions ...

I guarantee the next 4 games dippers will not get any favourable decisions with the media hyping Maureen's statement tomorrow and all next week.

I think if they could pick anyone tomorrow it would not be Norwich - precariously above the relegation zone and with four incredibly tough matches on their run-in looking at them. Getting points at home would be crucial for their survival.

Plus they snatched two off us there this year. That's not a gimme by any means.

But if Liverpool score a goal like we did, there's will stand ;-)
