we just win our games thats the main thing, liverpool have two chucks of the dice chelsea and palace lose one and were on, the odds of us winning it are better than they were at 1-2 down to qpr in 2012
Almost 2 years to the day since we beat WBA 4-0 after thinking it was all over after defeat at Arsenal and a home draw to Sunderland.

Beat WBA, then Liverpool have to beat Chelsea. They can't play for a draw because that puts them in a very precarious position.

The pendulum is at Liverpool's end at the moment, but I have a feeling it's going to swing back our way. And when it does move our way it will be decisive and unstoppable and there will be no time for Liverpool to do anything about it

It's not blind. Liverpool only need to lose 1 game. As it is, it goes to the last game, and anything can happen then

If we win all our remaining games then we have a chance. I can't see us not dropping any more points though.

I'm with you. My optimism did go walkabouts yesterday but looking at the fixtures again it isn't an impossible task and there will be more twists and turns so yeah I'm back on board.

I will be a bit more optimistic if we do the business tonight.

We had also drawn at Stoke as well. So, the 3 games before West Brom were
W0 D2 L1. Then, as we all know, 6 wins on the bounce...

In fact the 5 games before West Brom were W1 D2 L2.

After the Chelsea result this weekend I feel much more positive. If we win all our games I think we will win it. C'mon city!!!

If we win all our games and Chelsea beat Liverpool and win their other two, we'll be in a much better position in terms of goal difference. Even if we win all our games by only one goal and Liverpool lose by one to Chelsea, our GD would be 8 better than Chelsea not including their other games. As a minimum they would need two 4-0s to overhaul our GD. Chances are they would need much more than that as we are more likely to increase our GD by more than 5 over the 5 games if we win them all.

The only flaw in this logic is that I can't see Liverpool getting beat by Chelsea and us winning all 5.
