Re: Will we win the Prem (continued)?

If we win the last 6 we still have a very good chance because I can't see Liverpool winning 14 straight.
Winning the next 6 though is very difficult but we did it in 2012 so why not?
We're rightly the underdogs now. Let's just take it one game at a time and see what happens.
I think the Everton game will be key.

Re: Will we win the Prem (continued)?

No for me . We should have appointed a better manager than Pellergrini last Summer . If we sack Pellergrini can we get a top class manager please . We should be doing a lot better this season .

Quick one.
If Chelsea get something at cheaterpool can we afford a draw at Everton or will it go down to goal difference

If Chelsea beat Liverpool (and assuming they both win their other 3 games) the maximum both could get would be:

Chelsea 87
Liverpool 86

A draw is no good to Chelsea as that would leave Liverpool finishing with 87 and Chelsea with 85. They have to beat Liverpool to finish on 87 and above them.

The maximum we can get is 88 (if we win every game).

If we did win every game and finish on 88 points, we'd then need Liverpool to suffer one loss or draw to finish above them.

If we did finish on 88 it wouldn't matter what Chelsea did as they can only get a maximum of 87 full stop.

So in a nutshell, we need to win every game and hope Liverpool lose or draw one game. So the answer to your question is no.

He's made some mistakes agreed but this is his first season in a new league, next year we will see Manuel's worth.

We could on and break Chelsea's 103 goal record and have a better defensive record than Liverpool yet still lose out on the league!

That's football, it's a freak season in my opinion!

I have a feeling we might see the same mistakes repeated next season . He never seems to fill me with confidence with his team selection . Every time we play away from home we look piss poor .

Re: Will we win the Prem (continued)?

Sturridge has a tight hamstring according to Rodgers. Could be worse than that. I think it will prove to be. If Henderson and Sturridge are out for any length of time, then that makes it likely that they will drop points. They are key players and they have no squad depth

This is the first away game we've lost in the league since November.

Henderson might be a key loss. He covers the grass and that makes it easier for Gerrard to sit and see the game out

Lucas will come in straight swap

But he sits doesn't he? Palace are just going to sit there.
