There are an awful lot of clubs in England and abroad to which the soul of football means more to than money. Clubs whose owners don’t see it as a business.

There’s a reason why we booed that anthem rather than bow to the great and glorious cartel. There’s a reason the vast majority value the PL title over European success. It’s the reason so many on here are apoplectic at this news.

I don’t for a second begrudge you your opinion because you’re entitled to it, and I gather it’s based on a different sporting set up where you live, but the feeling on this forum and across England will verge on rage.

Thanks for explaining that. And you are right but I only watch epl and don’t watch any other sport. My thing is more aligned to can’t beat them then join them mentality. They have tried to fuck us over for a long time and now we are right there with them. To me it almost makes me laugh.
