Hopefully not too expensive...but he is very good keeper and would give Hart run for his money and occasionally even steal the #1 spot.

He plays with Willy on his shirt.......he will get some stick doing that in the premiership...... :)

Interesting.

I think we will sign two goalkeepers this summer but Geronimo Rulli will go on loan and Caballero will come to us.

I still think Caballero is too good to be a number two and I will be interested to see if he takes over Joe Hart.

8-12 million euro for a player who will play what 15 odd games a season complete madness. With FFP we should be spending that money on other areas or in players with potential we could develop, he is a very solid keeper but has no experience in our league and it prove challenging for him to adapt it took De Gea a while.

Whilst this is true - what happens if Joe breaks his hand and is sidelined from Dec to Mar? We need a credible back up - who can come in and play at the highest level and Joe needs pressure to continue to 'up his game'. If we can get Willy for circa £4m I think it would be good business and an excellent contingency - and hopefully most of the fee can be covered by the sales of Sinclair. I do however, accept that paying circa £10m is probably dumb in the present FFP scenario.

What happens if we need the reserve keeper to play 40 games next season?

Fitting a foreign keeper into our CL squad this season leaves us with problems in outfield areas especially as Hart is likely to be our main starter. Maybe we should find an up-and-coming 20 year old keeper who can be included on the B list instead.

Right now we do not have the power to buy who we want, we have to think smart with money we can use. Caba is around 5m and that's amazing. If not bring up a youngster, sure.
