They can fuck off, rampant bureaucracy! Munich and Plzen for me then.

It's always a good idea to get on the panel knowledgeable pundits

I quote Dwight Yorke

Chelsea haven't really done that well the past couple of years in the champions league.

I hope we do as badly as they did a couple of years ago
Yes, and the thick twat also said Flamini has signed for Chelsea and that Napoli have lost their star striker "CAVALI".
he also said that Eto had gone back to Chelsea
I muted telly every time he came on. I did hear the embarrassing silence after Redknapps 'banter' with Lennon.

Our qualification to the group stages completely rests on the games against Plzen and CSKA and to see what we can nick from Bayern at our place.

Two home wins and two away draws against Plzen and CSKA and a home draw against Bayern might just be enough for qualification if Bayern as expected win all their home games and get an away win and a draw against one of Plzen and CSKA.

I've never taken anything for granted in the Champions League ever since we ran into Napoli who showed us how it should be done. Many on here thought Napoli & Dortmund would be a cake walk and qualification would be assured, but be rest assured CSKA are no mugs and Plzen recently won 5-0 on aggregate against Napoli in the Europa League.

I hope we are sufficiently warned!

+1 really fancied Moscow but too costly and bureaucratic !

Been looking at CSKA Moscow's team. They are a lot tougher than I thought.

Alan Dzagoev plays for them, and Keisuke Honda. Dzagoev in particular is a very strong player.

yeah right ribery had a better season than messi
I think he did.

Ribery didn't have one bad game from what I saw of München, which was a lot last season in their league, cup and the CL. Messi wasn't himself last season, still amazing at times, but he was injured for the last part of the season and was either anonymous (Milan home and away, München away) or played 15 minute cameos here and there in La Liga.

Yes 60 goals in 50 appearances worth of cameos. Ribery is not in the same league.

Exactly.

Robert was good but so was Robben

When Inter won the treble Sneijder was better than either of the above and was star player for Hollan won were runners up in the World Cup, still Messi finished ahead of him.

Aye, they are strong at home and are well used to their synthetic pitch.

Madrid had to work last year to scrap a 1-1 draw.

Chuffed to bits with the group, a top team was to be expected but CSKA should be beatable and therefore finish 3rd, never even seem the other team play.

I think Arsenal will be the only club from the bunch not to advance. I think they will even struggle to finish third. I'll enjoy watching them struggle and also to hear from their fans and their organic business model..
