Trains from Hannover!

Looks like BIG savings if you buy in a group of 7 or more, return for 14.40 euros.

Also last train back at 2316 getting into Hannover at 0012.

Any German based Blues confirm?

a group ticket would surely save you money

This is turning into a nightmare again. City is playing in germany and I can't order a ticket. Tried it through the wolfsburg website, never received a link to activate my account. Support is not answering. Today the tickets are on open sale on tickets.mcfc.co.uk

"You're not currently eligible to buy for this match. Please see the details below to find out when you can buy."

And what is the stoke badge doing there?

Having some problems this morning by the looks of things, give it 15 minutes.

I can't pick a pricing band for any of the games at the moment.

Stehplatz = stand
Sitzplatz = seat

all you have to know

(the part of their stadium rules (Stadionordnung) you have to agree says that you are not allowed to enter the away end as a home fan)

You can get them for £5 off the OS now.
Seems like I'm going to sit in one of them posh seats.

Bollocks, now I have to book a hotel room and train tickets, never happy.

Berlin nightlife isnt as good as its cracked up to be its such a vast city you have to travel from district to district to find out whats happening and where.
Last few visits for me have been dissapointing stayed in charlottenberg and mitte both dead apart from a few goth type bars but the area around Anhalter Banhoff station was ok.
Dont know whether its because we were english but not made particularly welcome anywhere in Berlin unlike the rest of Germany but one german from munich told us that berliners are like cockneys abit above themselves and arrogant

Nightlife wise in Berlin it can be hard to find anything of interest in Charlottenburg or Mitte, mostly over priced and boring. The worst Irish bar in the world is under the the Europa Center near Zoo Bahnhof. There another Irish bar near Oranienburg u bahn called the Oscar Wilde it was full of West 'Aaaam the last time I was there. But if you like, and I hate using this term "the alternative scene" get yourself off to Kreuzberg. The Gorlitzer or Kottbusser Tor stations are best. some good bars there with friendly enough punters in them, Weisse Tauber, wild at heart club, SO36, Trinkteufel. If your into all the techo disco cack theres always the BergHain which is a massive old power station. The doormen are knobheads apparently and its hard to get in sometimes or club nights at Postbahnhof (fritz's) across the road from Ostbahnhof. Lichtenberg and Marzahn districts are best avoided if your not German/Russian but there's no need to be there unless you get lost in the East.

Of course, a return ticket for one person is nearly 50 euros, but buy 7 or more and it is 14.40 per person!! I will be hanging about the ticket machine for a group of Blues buying tickets ;-)

-- Fri Jul 20, 2012 4:07 pm --
