For all of you travelling to that match: If you want to sound clever in conversations with the locals, here´s some information
Club: VfL Wolfsburg
(„VfL“ means „Club for physical education“ or „Club for gymnastics“)
History: The club was founded in 1945 shortly after the war to give young people a new home in sport and culture. They were promoted to Bundesliga in 1997 and never relegated since. Though a lot of money was invested by the Volkswagen company, VfL Wolfsburg ended nearly every season in the midfield of the Bundesliga, except that sensational final run in 2009, that made them champions. The football team is a PLC, fully owned and managed by Volkswagen. Being an exception from the general law, that teams must be ruled by the clubs and their members, makes them quite unpopular among german fans
Nicks: Wölfe (Wolves) or Autostädter (car-towners), other fans call them Radkappen (hubcaps).
Most hated rivals: Hannover 96 and Eintracht Braunschweig, their neighbours with a lot more tradition
Badge:
Their old badge used to have merlons on top of the „W“ , making the „W“ look like a tower. A lot of their fans hate the new version, because now it looks like the badge of Werder Bremen.
Fans: Their average attendance last season was 27,614. Most of their fans are workers from Volkswagen. The atmosphere is not breathtaking, though of course they have an Ultras section and a „capo“ behind their goal. I think it needs a championship to get the city behind the club and even then....

Stadium:
The Volkswagen Arena has a capacity of 30,000, including 22,000 seats and 8,000 stands. For international matches it is reduced to 26,000. The stadium was built in 2002 and is one of the „know one, know all“-grounds (inside) of the Bundesliga. It is located outside the city centre. The map shows you the away end (Gäste, grey area at the corner).

Normal Bundesliga ticket prices are from 12 to 44 Euros (up to 19 to 70 for top matches vs Bayern and Dortmund).
As far as i remember they serve „Krombacher“ beer in the stadium, which is not a local beer, but known as a nationwide football sponsor. but i don´t think they will serve you beer with alcohol in the away end.
