Wolves (A) | Post Match Thread

Excellent three points without having to be at full tilt throughout. So pleased for Grealish after a difficult time.
The less full tilt before the world cup the better, think we have the most players going to it, most could go quite deep into it.

Christ it’s like the match day thread in ere, 3 goals, clean sheet, another Haaland goal, another 2 assists for KDB, goal for Phil to get him back on track after a few patchy performances, Jack scores to stick two fingers up to the media (who’ve been looking for any negative on City) another solid game for Akanji, Walker not risked, plenty of subs by Pep, no injuries picked up, played in second gear and we are Top of the league & undefeated going into the break, I think that just about covers it!

Seriously good result away from home against a good side.

We were in total control of the game apart from the 20 minute spell at the start of the second half I think we got complacent. A number of really good performances today Cancelo, Akanji, Rodri, Grealish...KDB wasn't at his best yet got two unbelievable assists. Really impressed with Akanji in particular he was absolutely brilliant throughout the game, His use of the ball is incredible.
I hope that Grealish performance continues, We all know he's capable of games like today it's all about consistency.

The down side I suppose is the typical cloggers we are up against and it's getting ridiculous, I hate to say it but its only a matter of time before one of our lads gets stretchered off with a leg brace. Dirty bastards. Although I thought the referee was very good today so credit where its due to the officials today.

We played better playing against 11 men.
Good game from Grealish being one of his critics.
Needs to get consistency into his game now.
