7-1 FT, a bit harsh on West Ham who kept playing and pressing, but some good signs from the girls, especially with all the injuries.

Just looking at the stats, its a real turn around, with 7 goals from 9 attempts on target, and only 14 overall, that is a huge improvement on recent weeks.

West Ham will be disappointed by the scoreline, but they should take quite a bit from it, as despite going 3 down early they kept pressing, and were unlucky not to get back into in the first 10 minutes of the second half, when we were pushed back, and just couldn't get out. The 4th goal killed it really, and City got back to close to their best after that taking complete control.

A good confidence boost today after the early season problems, could do with Chelsea taking something off Arsenal.

Interesting to see that apparently all West Ham sides use the same defensive system. ;-)

Caroline Weir you beauty, think she could be our best player, what a goal to start us off. Nikita got herself a nice backwards header. Weir sweet control and assist, Parris skipped past the keeper for a nice goal. Nikita latched onto the clearance, fought to keep hold of it and put it on a plate for Stanway. Wotm Caroline perfect free kick for Steph to head home. Wullaert intelligently slipped it into Georgia who deceived the defender and slotted past the keeper. To finish it off a good strike from Tessa which their goalie misfortunately dropped through her legs. Never knew Esme Morgan was a supporter, commentary said she's been going since she was 3, so hopefully see more of her. Unfortunately no clean sheet but still a great game.

I agree West Ham were well on top
In the first 10 mins of the second half and that also had a lot to do with us looking for the Hollywood pass rather than knocking the ball
Around like we did in the first half.

I thought we played very well overall and the team deserved a bigger crowd supporting them. That said there was a good atmosphere.

Good performance all round this afternoon. Have Criticised in the past but not today as everyone stepped up to the plate. Well done to the whole squad. It looks like Arsenal are going to be the ones to beat. When all the players are fit I think that we can make a good fight of of it.

You know, it might be helpful if we knew the girls were playing ahead of time as some of us aren't aware of the women's kick off times or playing dates.

I seem to miss a lot of it, lately, when I want to watch it!
