Potential transition season coming up then.

New coach, new attitudes and all that jazz.

I don’t think Lavelle, Mewis, White and Bronze will allow it to be a transitional season. We have enough leaders on the pitch (at full strength) to exceed mediocre coaching. These stars should also ease over reliance on Steph Houghton to lead by example, where currently we really suffer if Steph has an ordinary game.

I was a bit underwhelmed by the new choice of coach. I hope he and the team prove me wrong.

Mir was a bit of a surprise choice and hopefully Taylor impressed over time. I know we have a core style of play across all the City’s teams but maybe Gareth’s coaching might blend better with the harder running style the two Americans and Bronze and Greenwood are capable of being to the Team.

That said, I don’t know enough about Taylor’s coaching to understand his tactics. Chelsea, always had an easy pass to the overlapping runner down the right flank and that’s the sort option that Bronze and Greenwood could bring to City.
