Mir was a bit of a surprise choice and hopefully Taylor impressed over time. I know we have a core style of play across all the City’s teams but maybe Gareth’s coaching might blend better with the harder running style the two Americans and Bronze and Greenwood are capable of being to the Team.

That said, I do t know enough about Taylor’s coaching to understand his tactics. Chelsea, always had an easy pass to the overlapping runner down the right flank and that’s the sort option that Bronze and Greenwood could bring to City.

Still looking forward to watching them. It's a purer version of the game compared to the men at the moment.

I would love to see Kiera Walsh developing into the type of midfielder who can dictate games like Banega does for Sevilla. I think she might have the ability but seems a bit shackled in her playing style sometimes and is often passing the ball sideways and back. Tbf she has developed the more creative side of her game but it didn’t impact on Chelsea this weekend.

I do think once the new signings can settle in and the team is a bit more familiar they'll be much better than what we saw. There were positive signs in the first half excluding the opening 15 minutes.
