Women's Team - 2021/22

I think that is the case, but even if a continental team can attract the top players and pay 'em a few bob extra it's a measure of how much better the women's game is 'sur le continent'! I wonder if City Women and GT ever look at one of Barca's games. It might be that they would stroll against poor sides but when they play English teams the top continental teams are at least a couple of levels higher. I thought, when we got Vicky Losada we were filching one of the top continental players - might have been the end of her contract and they have a 21yr old replacement at Barca! And the likelihood of seeing these teams at The Academy next season looks highly remote!
I am sure the women themselves watch the games, not sure about Taylor though, certainly can't imagine he ever did prior to getting the job he has now. The top continental teams appear much more comfortable on the ball than most of the players in the WSL. They don't take hours on end to get across the halfway line only for it to be passed back again either!

I'm not one who normally gloats at other teams misfortunes, and I can also spin a bit of an untruth when the occasion requires, but I see the Arse 'ladies' took a battering last night by the mighty Barca, 4-1. The day begins well!

CFC women showed the same gulf in ability last season. There's summat about continental women's teams that seem to demonstrate a different level to the FAWSL glitterati!
Looking at the stats, 4-1 flattered them. 35 shots to 6, thank god they didnt play us at the moment plus Barcelona destroyed Chelsea in the final last season, and they are the best 2 English teams at this current time

Does anyone know of a bookie that offers odds on women's super league matches? I fancy an insurance bet on utd to soften the blow of the inevitable defeat, but can't find odds anywhere.
Now on Betfair, Surprised to see United @ 5/2, not much liquidity atm though. City hovering around evens!

Not going well. Taylor's been with the club forever and City really don't like sacking managers full stop, but even less so company men. But could be the first time a manager has outright failed at city since the takeover. Interesting to see how they deal with it. Will be a bit lame if they just let him fail without consequence.

I can see us beating the rags. It’s time to get behind the team. We are up against but I think we will bounce back:

Taylor will go when our owners decide to fire him.

We’ve been absolutely shocking lately. The women can cheer themselves up with a thrashing of the out of towners!

Why is he still in charge for such an important game...I said when he was appointed NOT THE MAN FOR US !! Such a weak character, but suppose that why they thought he'd be suitable for our ladies...The ladies are talented and need coaching by a knowledgeable 'no nonsense' sort...IN MY OPINION of course
