Imo, Greenwood is a much better LB than Stokes. Stokes had more pace than Alex from what I remember. If Stokes has lost a few steps, we definitely need someone else to put in at CB and play Alex on the left. Isn't one of the new Australian players a CB?

A dreadful draw v Reading and we were chasing CFC. Mind, they lost to one of the trap door contenders, and I think we also buggered up the home game v CFC. From that game last night the last couple of seasons it's been like watching a game but not in real time - slowed down by a few frames. Things should improve with Hemp on one wing, Kelly on 'tother, and some robustness in midfield. There are injury issues and players get put where they fit best, but when the team is up to strength pursuing the same possession-based tactics at a snail's pace isn't gonna bear much fruit. There are only two or three teams who have the wherewithal to win the title, and slip up once and it could be curtains.
