Sky sports backing the women's game by not even acknowledging the game is taking place on their scores app, got the Hungarian and polish games all covered though.
Daft. Especially when they acknowledge men’s games they don’t have rights to.

Hey guys,

I am a Master's student at the University of Brighton from South Korea. Being female fan myself, through my thesis research I want to find out what can enable more male fans to live, breathe and sleep the women's games as much as you do for the men's games. I would really appreciate your quick minutes into the survey I designed for the research I am conducting.

Thank you guys Xx
done, good luck

England can’t sustain this defensively for another 25 mins. Something has to change or they’ll eventually break.

Sorry guys, but it's a master's dissertation, and a doctoral thesis in the U.K., and the other way round across the water. Unless you've all decided to adopt that American rule now.
Edit: this relates back to #437 and Ric's response to it.

Didn't see the game but I'm impressed by the fact that the Lionesses had much more possession than the U.S.A. and slightly more shots on target. How often does that happen to the Americans? The women are the real deal.

I didn't get to see the match. I completely expect the American RB Sofia Huerta to make Rachel Daly cry. Huerta is excellent in the attack. And Rachel Daly is well, Rachel Daly, when it comes to defending.

Daly did alright tonight. She's not the greatest defender and it's obviously not her natural position as she plays as a forward in club football. Lost the ball a couple of times and probably a bit naive in chasing a player too far up the pitch but saved England on at least one occasion in tracking a run right across the area when other defenders were caught out and made the important tackle to stop a clear shot at goal.
