Work For Dole

What would actually happen if we stopped the welfare state dead for 1 year? I mean all welfare to everyone.

All I could imagine is the countries death rate going through the roof and not much else

450,000 jobs on average advertised over the past year

2.4 million looking for work, 1.4 million in part time of which around 1 million looking for full time work.

The maths are not that hard.

The above is the figures we really should be focusing on not what someone scrounger who doesn't want to work is taking off the tax payer each week

Haven't we been listening to the same bullshit by all political parties over the past 40 years.

Yet again we are hearing how they have plans to solve unemployment, plans and schemes that cost the public purse billions each term in office. The same plans and schemes that fail after each term in office. Both parties point scoring about rising unemployment figures.

It is the same bullshit we listen to

The reality is over the past 40 years each government that has been in office as failed and failed miserably in dealing with unemployment.

Yet the blame lay with the near 4 million who are chasing the 450,000 jobs.

The most remarkable thing is we the public vote the fuckers back in again.
Most of these jobs are bogus and do not exist

Depressing that a few soak up the rhetoric and actually think this would work and that its a good idea....depressing!

This should have been implemented years back, far too many lazy, selfish and piss taking fvckers in this country.

Why should any able bodied person should get anything for nothing? They certainly cant afford to be choosy when survival is the priority.

It might come as a shock to some, however, the vast majority of people intensely dislike like going to work yet they understand its a necessity rather than a choice.

The current generation have become reliant on others, being more than happy for someone else to clean up their mess and owe them a living,it needs to stop and this is a good start.

I've heard a lot of people are against this due to logistics etc, but is anyone actually opposed to the general notion of forcing scroungers to do work?

Death rates up, crime figures going through the roof, and an even more alienated underclass.
Would you include retirement pensions in your 'final solution' proposal?
I can see that being a difficult sell, given that most tory activists are 100 years old and kept alive via ventilators.
Maybe we could make the elderly pick up litter until they die of hypothermia to save on the winter heating allowance.

You missed out the words, "feckless" and "work shy" ffs

Whats up? Not had your Daily Mail fix this morning yet?

Is every single person claiming JSA a scrounger or do you think its a possibility that government after government has ailed a large percentage of the population by not creating enough jobs that pay a living wage?

I object to that statement - I am rapidly approaching my 200th year and greatly resent being bracketed with immature and reckless whippersnappers who have little or no experience in oppressing the peasantry, harassing the lower orders and exploiting vast areas of the globe as empire builders.

Errrrmmmmm...........Scroungers? I'm sure there are some (as reported by the Daily Fail) but the people I know who are unemployed genuinely want to find work.

And how do we expect them to find work if they are having to pick up litter / do other menial tasks / sign on every day.
