I saw your thoughts in previous post, I just think that pen was particularly harsh, and consequently shouldn’t have been given. He didn’t move his arm in the direction of the ball and it’s impossible to jump that height without your arms going out to the sides. Of course, I agree it can be classed as unnatural, I just think there was enough of a doubt to leave with onfield original decision.

I think if the referee had seen the contact in live play and judged it to be ball to hand he probably wouldn't have changed his mind. With how quick the review was I reckon he didn't see the contact until he saw the replay.
