World Cup Quarter-Finals Thread.

I suspect this was a pretournament agreement between Krul, GK coaches, and Van Gaal. Krul didn't seem too surprised.

Probably Ciellsen (?) was totally in the dark though.

Costa Rica got what they deserved from that game. They had no intention of attacking, just time wasting and spoiling tactics. They were shite. Their goalie must have had 15 minutes of treatment. He had more resurrections than Jesus.
I don't particularly like the Dutch but they deserved the win and I thought Robben was outstanding.

I can see Messi tearing the Dutch defence apart, here hoping anyway :)

Costa Rica were dead on their feet after 90(plus) minutes, they gave their all, especially the last 25mins,which was as entertaining a period of football as any in this tournament. They resorted to spoiling tactics in extra time simply to give themselves a chance of progression, who can blame them?

Robben is a fantastic talent but he's also a cheating twat,he and his team have been experts in 'game management' this tournament,as such,i don't think they were owed fuck all.

Well done Costa Rica,i'd be shocked if even one of their players would make our team and yet, through heart and desire, they deservedly made the quarter finals and did their nation proud.

Heart and desire, sure, but really it was because they were properly coached and knew how to defend. You always have a chance when you are set up properly. Our defending was awful and that's why we went out in the first round.

I remember Joe Hart psyching out Scott Sinclair to be fair, though Krul went far further.

Krul tried it on with Mario two seasons ago, he delayed the pen for about 3 min, Mario after putting the pen away walked up arms folded and gave the twat the eyes. Worth watching again if anyone can post.

I absolutely loved that reaction to the psych attempt. And of course the press made Mario look the twat. Loved that too. :D

The wink at Rio tops the lot though.
