World Cup Semi FinalS

Well done Germany . To be honest I hope they go on and win it now .

They won`t have it that easy against Argentina .

If Argentina do get through which they will .

It will be the 3rd time Argentina have played Germany in the final .

I know the last 2 times it was West Germany .

But how many East Germans are in the present team .

So as I see it this will be the 3rd meeting .

The best was 1986 when Argentina won 3-2 .

Marcelo and Luiz the most selfish individual defensive display I have seen, big time Charlie's shown for what they are, we'll done Germany and a set of players well coached, disciplined, professional with a lot of talent.

Scholari must take a lot of blame for this as well, when you see the raising of Neymar shirt during the anthem I cringed for the country. What an embarrassment for them , the guy is injured not deceased set the tone for the shambles that unfolded.

50mill for Luiz, WOW. All about him most us disciplined game ever played in a World Cup semi, watching it again and he is strutting around chasing the ball like he has free role.

David Luiz is getting destroyed right now on US television. Brutal.

PSG fans must feel like shit right now.
I doubt it, as long as they don't have a clown of a manager and a clown of a leftback, they should be fine. Him and Silva have generally been pretty fantastic together for Brazil, a team with any structure about it should be able to cater for Luiz's runs forward without it being the complete debacle that Brazil were today.

Luiz was very poor today and I feel sorry for him, but this post is still spot on. Luiz bursting forward is fine and actually creates chances, but you need a team that covers for it. When Luiz made his forward runs, one of the midfielders should have dropped back as a centre back. Hummels does it a lot for Dortmund and it works very well.

PSG will be fine next season defensively. The bigger issue for them is getting the wingers to track back.

I don't know what was wrong with Marcelo though. The sad thing is Felipe Luiz was not even in the squad.

Still surprised teams have been so stupid against Germany. The right hand side is where they destroy you with Lahm and Muller. The left hand side is where they are not only impotent due to Ozil and Howedes, but also weak defensively. That's the side to attack. Robben certainly will attack that side. Though Hummels is on that side and I am sure Schweinsteiger and Khedira will cover.

I understand the point you are making especially highlighting the strength of Germany on the right, however as a centre half your primary job is to defend and recognise when you can contribute going forward, Luiz just looked to play his own game, look how far I can kick it and dribble , look at me. No midfielders can cover for that display, even worse given the score and game as it developed. Marcelo was worse though.

Just before I hit the sack, I have to say that that is one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Decent premier league team against a conference north team. Without the diving twat they were clueless. Possibly the most overrated team of all time?
Jesus, what a humiliation. Fully deserved, hope there is a revolution, and they sort out some real shit in that so called country that actually matters.

Wankers like Luiz, Fred and Scolari have got a richly deserved humilation, absolutely orgasmic.
I agree.
