I thought Viera was spot on. It is part of the modern game(like it or not) and Pepe shouldn't have gone back to headbutt him
By the same argument if Muller doesnt playact then Pepe doesnt react and we get on with 11v11.jimharri said:Agreed. If he didn't go back and put his head (however gently) into Muller's, we wouldn't be having this discussion. Yes, Muller acted like a ****. But Pepe brought the red card on himself.pudge & rodge said:As poor as Muller's initial reaction was, the rules shouldn't be changed to accomodate ill-tempered, idiotic twats like Pepe

Don't think so. He and Dixon were equally bemused by what happened in the opener when Brazil were gifted the penalty.
I remember.
I'll save judgement for when Sterling or Sturridge inevitably dive or embellish and then see what their reaction is.

Its just points out that Pepe is an idiot. he knows exactly what will happen after he pushes his head in to Mullers head.lancs blue said:By the same argument if Muller doesnt playact then Pepe doesnt react and we get on with 11v11.jimharri said:Agreed. Just don't think it's in the British mentality and I wouldn't want it to be. Now I'm going to write to Michael Gove and ask him to include it in his list of British values to be taught in schools. :-)
