It's weird how many are against VAR.
It has been brilliant at this World Cup. Without it Spain would have gone out (wrongly) and Germany might well have stayed (wrongly) based on the original decisions.
The only really wrong decision was the pen against Portugal - which was down to the referee rather than the technology and sums up exactly why we need VAR across the board.
Also as someone said above, at least you know what the decision as given for and the referee has the view everyone else has.
Just watched the 1st Korea goal against Germany and if anything the VAR added to the drama and excitement. T
Absoulutly spot on.
It’s annoying that VAR will get it right 9 times out of 10 but as soon as there’s a mistake it gets completely jumped on and the moaners come screaming out the woodwork totally forgetting how many times Refs with no help got decisions wrong.
Agree it also adds to the excitement
