Worldies against City

Ross Barkley in our 3-2 win there last season. He was actually MOM IMO in a game where we played really well until 3-2.

Didn't Pedro Mendez consistantly score crackers against us, until Thatcher assaulted him!!!

Rooney's overhead, Henry when he curled it into the top corner... another couple that are in their top 10

That was a 20 yard own goal so strictly doesn't count in this thread. ;-)

Cyrille Regis scored a cracking solo effort for WBA at Maine Road in the late 70s.
 
Surely if Shrek had connected that volley properly he wouldn't have scored. So how can that be a worldy ? For that reason Im not having it and I never will.
The most recent one was Barkleys, now that was special, fortunately for us Edin performed his magic again to set up a fantastic win. I cant remember who scored it but there was one late in the season at home think it was against West Brom where there was a great breakaway and a superb finish. Crouchy's was undoubtedly a worldy.

It was Graeme Dorrans; I was judt going to nominate it when I saw your post. Probably not a ''worldie'', but it was a cracking goal.

it is a habit isn't it, tells you people up their game against us.
 
I remember a Birmingham player scored a decent goal against us at maine road, possibly in the benarbia game
