Worry

When I was a (not very good) Buddhist I didn't worry very much - the meditation exercises were excellent for disciplining the mind etc.

Unfortunately all the meditations required belief in re-incarnation and ultimately I couldn't convince myself that it was anything but bollocks.

It was the letting go of attachments to people, pets etc that I didn't like, big believer in Karma but I have my own non orthodox view of it.

Maybe for you mate but I'll be sick with worry that you'll be hungry all afternoon :-)
My wife will put other things in my lunch bag. Don't be worried, she'll sort it :)

I feel like I spend the only capacity I have for worry on my missus. She worries about everything else enough for the both of us, so I just concentrate on worrying about her. Don't think I've ever properly worried about money. Maybe when I got in a little too deep on a credit card when I was young(er) and stupid, but it was fleeting. When I started my job I had the usual worries about needing to prove myself, thinking any small thing I did wrong would get me fired, but I've now seen us hire and interview enough shite out there to make me feel pretty secure in both my abilities and my position.

That's a huge relief. I have enough to concern myself with tomorrow what with monitoring the situation in russia and trying to contain ebola. ;-)

Colinbellsjockstrap - very true a worry shared and all that. If we can all share and talk about it then it sometimes puts it into perspective
