Worry

Any youngsters (under say 25) must be thinking what the hell? When I was 21 I left my husband, left my job and went to South Africa for 6 months not a care in the world - why do we worry more about doing that sort of stuff when we are older ?

Colinbellsjockstrap - very true a worry shared and all that. If we can all share and talk about it then it sometimes puts it into perspective

Very true boots, bottling things up, and keep going over negative thoughts in your mind is absolutely the worst thing you can do. You will make yourself ill or worse.

Talk to friends about your worries....there is help out there if seek it.

Failing that, talk to your doctor, they see this kind of thing every day of the week.

Regarding money, don't spend money on things you don't need with money you haven't got.

We've got more to lose. I went to Budapest and lived there for a while after breaking up with the missus, absolutely loved it and I'd love to go back, it's not an option now though.

Always been a worrier. Life in general, I'm not very good at, I don't know how to do it really. I worry about my boys, that they're better off without me. I hope they grow up to be nothing like me anyway. I worry about my inability to change.

I worry about everyday things like money same as anybody else but they all pale into insignificance against the wifes illnesses, sometimes she cannot get out of bed for a couple of days at a time, she even says sometimes she wishes it was all over for her then I really worry

Never been in your predicament mate but there's plenty on here who have and can offer words of advice.

Your lads will be like you - genetically impossible for them not to be - if your genes were so crap you wouldn't be around to pass them on so they must have something.

Anyway, it is the role of kids to make the parents feel helpless.

Best of luck - you will be fine.

Just don't tell them any fucking jokes.

Cheers Chabal..i think :) I try to be optimistic but deep down I'm a miserable ****. As long as the boys live their lives without fear then I will be happy.

Good luck to you also with your "crisis"
