Worst City players you remember

The man is an utter hypocrite , stole money from our club, refusing to play and then as a "pundit" he has the audacity to criticize unprofessional players, Danny your a ****.
 
This must have be an age thing, because City had players like Nick Fenton and Gary Mason who weren't even good enough when City were struggling at the start of the 98-99 campaign.
 
Terry Phelan (turned his back on a shot that ended up as a goal in a 5-0 derby loss is still a disgrace to this day)

That's a cracking choice, Blue. (I might have found a place for Sugrue and Shinton, though - thanks, Mal.....)

I'm glad you mentioned Nigel Johnson, though. He was without a shadow of doubt the worst central defender we've had - made Spencer Prior, Tony Vaughan or Nick Fenton look like world-beaters in comparison. At least we got shut of him pretty sharpish (7 League & cup games)

No one has ever mentioned him but you (and me, some time ago), even though he wasn't all that long ago (85-86 season). If you didn't see him, believe me, he was an embarrassment.

I remember Johnson, seemed to be injured a lot and had a Kenny Clements perm and moustache. Was returned to sender at Rotherham IIRC
