Worst City players you remember

Don’t know if anyone remembers Giuseppe Mazzarelli….can’t recall if he was on loan or if we bought him. Must have been the season we had just gone down under Ball but i remember thinking he looked like Gaudino but was absolutely dire. Think he only played a couple of games and was never seen again!

When I think back to keepers like seaman it’s like a completely different position to what it is now.
A little bit different but Seaman was comfortable with the ball at his feet (just not like Ederson in terms of passing).

Duncan Davidson. Footballers aren’t built like him anymore that’s for sure. Possibly scored one of the flukiest goals ever by a City player. This was then followed by the worst celebration ever by a City player.

I forgot about Seaman... to be fair to him he was right at the arse end of his career and had the decency to retire once he got injured.

He rivals Bravo in terms of being the worst keeper we've ever had. Both might have been decent with their feet, but they spent more time with their feet walking to get the ball out of the net than they did passing it about :)

Think he was one of our many loan signings, Ronnie Ekulund, who'd looked decent at Southampton also had a short unimpressive stint with us.
We had some awful loan signings between 95-8, remember Darren Wassall turning out for us and a way over the hill Peter Beardsley.

I disagree with Bravo being the worse (Margetson) although it was the right decision in replacing him with Ederson the next season.

Barry Conlon - how he managed to put the blue shirt on is anyones guess. Could of got someone out the crowd and they would of played better.

Margetson was bloody terrible. Too small,no presence, nothing. He'd dive for a routine shot and you'd think he'd saved it, only to see it go through him into the net. Awful keeper. Bravo had some good games for us in the end. I remember the save against Villa at Wembley in the last few minutes, won us the game.
