Worst ever night watching City?

There are a few to think of but worst ever has to be that 5-0 defeat by the rags. The Carling semi last year was bad enough but I have never ever felt as bad as I did after that 5-0.

I know I'll get slated for this by a lot on here but Brian Horton was in charge that night and I blame him for that defeat and have never liked him. And I have never understood why he became so popular with City fans especially after he left.

I think the carling loss effected me more than the 5-0 because i was convinced we could beat them and go on and win it. Coming out after and them lot gloating and acting like they had just beaten us 10-0 was the icing on the cake.

That semi was indeed a grim night, but there have been worse nights.

I think it affects you more when you are younger too.

I cried my heart out when we lost to Spurs in the 81 Cup final. But I was only 11.

That 5-0 at Old Trafford was grim. Ended up threatening a bloke in the pub who turned out to be my new girlfriend's uncle. That was embarrassing.

1-4 away at Lincoln was a night match and that was shocking.

A weird one, but my worst night watching my beloved City was a game we won.
Back in the day when away fans were banned from Stamford. Bridge we played them on a Tuesday night I think. Sat in the main stand surrounded by Chelsea idiots we played some lovely stuff winning I think.3-1, Paul Lake getting 2. It was awful watching us play that well and no being able to cheer or sing, well not without ending up in the hospital

we played really well that night-moulden,not lake got two goals, one of them a belter from 20 yards-was a bit tense in the west stand that night..think the crowd was below 9k.

would have said the CC semi but the fa semi helped heal that wound pretty quickly!having been back in oz for the past 5 years till last oct, every game was a night game for me so take your pick!

blackburn other year in the cup,can accept any defeat but 2 lose without no fight wotsoeva was a fuckin disgrace i felt numb 4 days

Was not at the game, but the 8-1 v "fucking" Middlesbrough, the shame.
A City team that did not give a fuck. There have been plenty of others over the years, but that one still piss's me off.

It was an afternoon, not night!

that one hardly bothered me for some reason. Season was over, Sven was sacked, it mattered little.

I was convinced we were going the Istanbul that year.the day in the shambles the atmosphere in shambles square and then the buzz walking to the ground convinced me even more that this what it city are back and I'm going Istanbul
Walking out at the end I felt so delfated I had witnessed city fuck up loads of times before relagations false dawns etc but this one really got to me. At theat point I thought that was it we'll never win anything
I dont know why but that one really got to me
