The claremont hotel claremont road moss side
The Lord Lion claremont road moss side
The Birch Villa wilmslow road rusholme
The Gold Cup Stockport road longsight
The Kings Oldham street in town
The Drum Chester road stretford
The farmers arms wythenshawe road northern moor
St Alphonsus Social club alphonsus street old Trafford
Blob shop in town
The Plymouth Plymouth grove chorlton-on-medlock

Not picking your post as such M22....but just as an example of the so called 'rough pubs' in the 'south'.....been in most mentioned in this topic in my time, and sorry, but most were palaces compared to truly rough as fuck pubs in North Manchester.... ;-)

Your right mate, I've never really ventured to the north of our great city on the beer so I can't really point any out. Never drank in Salford eaither. Bet there are some right dives in Salford if the stories in the evening news are anything to go by.

Years ago after a day at he races we went to a club in Barnsley called " Japanese Whispers" and boy was that fuckin rough.
You're not wrong there mate, went over for a mates wedding and after the reception ended up in there, some lad hanging out the back of a fat bird in the toilet cubicle, turns to the lads all using the stones and says'what are you looking at',all the time still pumping away.

-- Sat Dec 01, 2012 6:55 am --
