Just look at those past winners, who have gone on to world domination after reaching the pinnacle of the worlds premier domestic cup competition.

Southampton, Ipswich, Everton, Sunderland, Coventry, Wimbledon, well you all get the drift. Like all other blues, i need, no, i crave a piece of silverware, but the failure to obtain champions league football, next term, will set us back and cause catstrophic damage to our future.

Deano, this is why i'd play the EDS against kiev, the ground will be sparsely populated anyway. I'd rather leave the europa to the celtic's and fulham's and get on with the real competion!

Winning a trophy is not the priority this season.... Champs league will bring us money, better playing staff and global recognition. If we dont qualify then our rivals will get a head start on us next season (again).

Trophies will come. I think we shouls go all out for FA cup but think Europa should be bottom of the agenda... Too many games and too much travelling

Why is it impossible to finish 3rd? Treating the F.A cup, like it was the holy grail is laughable. How desperate and small minded does it look, to choose a cup which was recently won by the likes of Coventry and Wimbledon, over Champions League status?

I have followed the Top 4 mantra throughout and believe this is in the long term of the interest of the club (of course it fucking is)

BUT........ we have a ghost to lay and right now I would be really happy if we won the FA Cup and finished 5th and had to wait another season for CL
