would you sack the medical staff now ?

Whatever. I just dream about that 2011/12 season repeating, they were like robots all of them, not even niggles, we had full team at disposal each fucking game.

Lest also not forget that the majority of our main players have been playing football non stop for the last 5/6 years - if you take into account international football and the fact they are travelling all over the world for pre season etc. These guys are on the brink of burn out - especially with the level of intensity they train and play at.

I'm not surprised - with the number of injuries - plus I just think the likes of Vinny & Aguero are just in the category of injury prone players

Zabaleta's a case in point. Always got a great fitness record but non stop football has caught up with him now. Once a player becomes injury prone there's not much you can do.

It helps to rotate and rest players as much as you can. Playing your strongest team near enough even in the 3rd and 4th round of the league cup isn't the best idea.

I know it's one of the areas Pep gets involved in and doesn't hold back his feelings when he feels the medical staff are not doing a good enough job as evidenced by the departure of the highly respected German Doctor employed by Bayern Munich. Not saying our medical staff are not doing there job but this season has been unacceptable for player injuries

Do you care to elaborate on what you mean by this regime or why people at the club would be happy that we had so many injuries?

If I can butt in here, they probably aren't happy at all but rather than jump in and do something that risks a claim for unfair dismissal, or at least risk an item of news that makes the club look uncaring, then any action will probably be left until the season is over and a full review of everything has been carried out.

That season was the exception, the Times printed an article the other day showing how Injuries for the Premier league have gone up over the past few years. They also printed a league of injuries over the last few years and we were very much mid table, so about average not the best but far from the worst. Considering our players play and travel more than most I'm not sure we can expect any great improvement.

One things for certain, when Pep arrives he will demand quick recovery times & a fully fit squad. He wouldn't stand for what's happened this season.

Case in point is him dismissing the Bayern physio after 30+ years at the club.
