They have maybe 3 minutes to pick out something and they picked out Ballo.

Villa may have been unbeaten but they have won 2 and drawn 5 and if you ask 99% of football fans the result was expected and city would dominate.

Villa were the better team for about 20 minutes, they didn't make much of that either.

If you are happy with that coverage and the infantile punditry that followed then thats your prerogative. It seems the majority do not hold that opinion.

I dont expect them to be purring over that performance to be honest, not that it wasn't very good, just it was against a team we were expected to beat relatively easily. If it was against a bigger team then I'd expect a bit more.

What was it that bothered you so much?

Like i said pal, if you were happy with the coverage then thats ok. I thought it was absolute shite.

I asked what bothered you about it so much? The highlights? What they said?

I'm seriously gobsmacked here. Genuinely bewildered. Was that a parody for Comic Relief or something? What the fuck????
A great over-head kick from Balo. A mature unselfish performance from the lad where - instead of looking disinterested as he is often accused of being in the media - he was berating team-mates and bang up for it. A sensational pass from Milner followed by a glorious goal. And a final twenty minutes that was reminiscent of Leeds v Southampton in '72 only without the showboating flicks and advertising hoardings promoting the virtues of Duckhams Oil.

And those absolute cunts spend their entire summary chuckling away as if they've just been mildly entertained by the antics of Bobo the fucking Clown! Swiftly followed by somehow clumsily squeezing in another cum-fest over the rags....who were shit today....whilst we went top of the league playing fantasy football at times with a centre-backs waltzing through a previously unbeaten side's defence for fun.

Can you imagine how they would have been if the roles were reversed? If City had got lucky at Anfield. If Hernandez had scored with the overhead kick. If Rooney had sprayed a majestic fifty yard pass before following up with a sublime curler.
They would have had to play 70s German porn music over the analysis.

'Ho ho ho....he'll get a red card at some point...ho ho ho' What? Like Rooney did last week Shearer you tufty-haired ****-flap? Letting down his country YET again.

It defies belief. Seriously, it just defies belief.

I hate all the biase dmedia shit that some people spout out with as it just sin't true. However, that was more or less spot on the money when I think about it. If Rooney had scored that goal (Milners or Balotelli) or shown 'passion' by shouting at another player they would have just told us about his desire to win and either of the goals would've been non stop news and have had a 5 minute analysis.

Come on Aston Villa were shit always were going to be, dont get too excited that was our B stike force

Do you remember Hernandez' header against stoke. What about Berbatovs goal against Blackburn (think it even won goal of the month)? Thats just two examples of recent rag goals that have featured for quite a while in the press and were shown and talked about repeatedly on MOTD. I'm sure other lbues can name examples. There was even one time I think it was this season where Rooney lot the ball and tried to win it back and fouled(?) them and they said it showed real commitment, I'm sure another blue knows what I'm on about.

Was planning on watching MOTD this morning but after hearing the bile they have been spouting i think il watch Goals on Sunday alot better in term of coverage and sheer football knowledge and i would advise others to do so.

Did anyone watch Boardwalk Empire last night? I sat and watched that FANTASTIC programme and thought about City. When there is a new power emerging that will eventually take over because it's so powerful and unstoppable it is very unsettling to everyone. The people at the top don't like it as it's them who are being threatened and they know they'll be killed (or in football's case, just displaced) soon. They wont know when it will happen but it will. And even for everyone else it's very unsettling even if they aren't associated with the top dogs of the previous regime because everyone is used to how things are and they don't know how far the new boys will take it or where they will stand when they take over.

Everyone other than the new emerging power are in a state of unsettled shock, almost panic. They don't know what to do but to ridicule and belittle or they say nothing at all. It all comes from fear.

Once we've settled at the top everyone else will settle down and get used to us.
