A mate for Mario. :-) All I can say is I have watched the obligatory U tube and looks to have some of the qualities of a deep lying play maker, defensive midfield player with a touch of Yayas surging runs. Maybe Mancini has paid heed to the Wizzard and we are now about to start signing youth players. Looks to me like a bit of forward planning to replace either Barry or Yaya when they leave. I see original post started of with Paddy V going to watch him.

Well come what may, Barry has only two years left on his contract (I think) and NDJ has only one year left. For me I would personally have Martinez because of his defensive capabilities. But next season we might not have Nige and we don't seem to be looking at extending Barry's contract (we could do lots of time) Players such as Razak are a year or two behind so I can see as a long term basis he might fit the profile even though that is a year or two away. Who is to say that we won't want Bitton as well he is only 20.
Given the option I would still go for either DDR or Martinez. Oh I don't fucking know. :-)

Yes, unless there have been a recent change in proceedings then he could be loaned to a club in Belgium. That was what stopped him signing in January if I remembered rightly.
