Yaya Toure apologises for accusing Guardiola of ‘having problems with Africans’

There is something cynical about coming out to say you sent a letter of apology and never got a response. He’s still attacking Pep
Ahh, I presumed it was recent.

It's just click bait now I've read it, to get you to subscribe to read the full article. 2 years to (allegedly) apologise is poor by any measure.

It’s as if nobody on here has ever fucked up in life.
The majority of people have fucked up and to own it is admirable. But to brand someone a racist is a slur that can have lifelong consequences, you can't un say it. He is a high profile manager and these comments are reported globally. The fact that it has taken him years to acknowledge what he said and to apologise doesn't alter what he said. He has not come out and said that Pep is not a racist. I'm sure that the club will acknowledge his apology but in some people's minds it changes nothing.

IMO the best City player I've ever seen. Will always be a legend for me unless it comes out that his amazing attributes were because he was eating babies to give him super strength. All else is seasoned by a pinch of salt.

Deserves a statue in my opinion regardless of what happened
True game changer and responsible for a lot of the early success
As per Vinnies tribute on the pitch
Cracking player and pushed us through so many games - that 13/14 season was incredible to watch but definitely shouldn't be anywhere near a statue.

He's got a training pitch named after him which I believe is sufficient but his behaviour time and time again to our club and Pep was nothing short of appalling and definitely not fit to place alongside Vinny, Silva, Aguero or Zabba.
