I've always liked Yaya, even with the whole mess he caused after his exit. I hold him in as high esteem as any City player for what he did on the pitch.

It’s as if nobody on here has ever fucked up in life.

The majority of people have fucked up and to own it is admirable. But to brand someone a racist is a slur that can have lifelong consequences, you can't un say it. He is a high profile manager and these comments are reported globally. The fact that it has taken him years to acknowledge what he said and to apologise doesn't alter what he said. He has not come out and said that Pep is not a racist. I'm sure that the club will acknowledge his apology but in some people's minds it changes nothing.

I doubt Pep really gives a fuck about Yaya and his apology now. Calling someone a racist is a massive accusation and then a couple of years on saying 'Oh I didn't mean it'...Too late for an apology.

Cracking player and pushed us through so many games - that 13/14 season was incredible to watch but definitely shouldn't be anywhere near a statue.

He's got a training pitch named after him which I believe is sufficient but his behaviour time and time again to our club and Pep was nothing short of appalling and definitely not fit to place alongside Vinny, Silva, Aguero or Zabba.
