Re: Yaya Toure

If yaya seriously has a problem with cake I think we should all just pause for moment and pray that he's getting the help he needs.

I reckon Yaya posted the tweets to brush it off but then left his iPad logged in on Twitter and his agent stole it and sent the others so he didn't mug him off.

Yaya goes back to his iPad and see's the tweets and then deletes them.
So Yaya and his agent is spending time together? ..sounds like one of the episode from Fake agent.

I take it you went through the Chicago public school system?
Says who?
Right I made a mistake with "C' in **** .

Re: Yaya Toure

Look, we all love him really. Admit it. Look at the poll results, FFS.

So yes, he's been a complete tool over all of this. But he hasn't actually said anything that terrible himself. Borat has been ranting on his behalf yes, and Yaya should have told him to STFU and publicly distanced himself from the agent's ridiculous and insulting comments.

But personally, so long as he doesn't come out with more shite, and so long as he's going to be committed playing here (for no more money) then I say we put this whole sorry saga behind us and move on.

The fact is, for the amount of money we would get for him, we would not be able to replace him with anyone of vaguely the same calibre. I am not sure there is anyone to be honest, at any price. We would be a weaker squad without him and to boot him out over this would be shooting ourselves in the foot, imho.

So let's try to forget it eh? We all make mistakes in life don't we. I for one want to see more goals like the last one at Villa. You can't have enough of moments like that in sport.

Some of us are at pains trying to point this out, but the mob are in a frenzy of self-righteous indignation, and they're not going to be swayed by anything so trivial as reason. (But they'll be blubbing their eyes out if Yaya scores the winning goal in the Champions League final.)

Re: Yaya Toure

Where is the cake......Where is the cake....Where is the cake..... Where is the cake....

I think City have created a monster......

CAKE ENVY !

Our good Sheikh had that whopping great big celebration cake as part of his special day after we won the title.

The result is YaYa is now a broken man.

It's unlikely he will ever be able to look at a cake or even a biscuit ever again.

A sad day.

Re: Yaya Toure

As the football world is still trying to come to terms with the callous and heinous acts perpetrated by Manchester City on their midfield maestro Yaya Touré, fresh news has emerged as the Blues attempt to reach out to the Ivorian.
Despite Yaya Touré’s insistence that he is very happy, unhappy and very much wants to stay while at the same time leave, it has emerged City have offered the 20-goal wonder a new, improved deal.
A new contract which has been tabled by the club in an effort to prove the club cares about and respects Touré is said to include a ’1 Hug Per Day’ clause which would see every members of the playing and coaching staff embrace the midfielder at least once every day.
The new deal is believed to have been masterminded by Touré’s agent Dimitry Seluk, as just days ago he took to Sky Sports News to share some wise but utterly incomprehensible ‘words’ leading to a tense impasse between club and player.
“We are very happy with the new deal I can now stop the police’s involvement. We seek no arrests. The deal shows much respect and love for Yaya,” Seluk told WWN through the use of 12 separate translators.
City fans will surely breath a sigh of relief that their club has now apologised and rectified not wishing their star player a happy birthday.
Manchester City will now be able to keep a player happy who is regarded by many as a ‘top top top top top top top player’. Incidentally a separate clause in Touré’s new contract will see him referred to as ‘His Almighty and Most Magnificent Yaya’ in all future official communications with the club.
While the vital ’1 Hug Per Day’ clause makes up the bulk of changes to Touré’s contract he is also said to have accepted £350,000 per week as a basic wage with a signing on fee totaling £2 million, while also collecting a fee for the signing of the signing on fee.

He is indeed priceless. To reflect for even a few seconds on those goals of his in matches when everything was on the line, United, Stoke, Newcastle, Sunderland, Palace is to reflect on true greatness. That's why it's been so painful to read so much of the comment on here.

The moral outrage comes from the Yaya bashers.

I think the problem is that there are far too many people on here who have lead very sheltered lives so far.I`m certainly not a Yaya basher, but by the same token he aint helped himself one iota over the past 48 hours.
