Having slept on it.....

Cash in and make the most of the opportunity by purchasing two amazing talents in Fabregas and Barkley.

Alongside Fernandinho, and with the impending arrival of Fernando, adding the above two will make us even stronger imo.

This could be a blessing in disguise, the opportunity to address our HG quota and improve the squad while, although his talent is undeniable....... removing a precious, self obsessed egomaniac from the books.
There's fuck all wrong with being a precious, self-obsessed egomaniac.....

You seem the black forest gateau type......

. If he decides he wants to go we'll get absolute top whack, circa £50mil, for an ageing player.

We'd be lucky to get £25m for him considering his age.

Don't be stupid. He's got 3 years left on his deal and he's just scored over 20 Prem goals, we hold all the aces. Plus of course, the only clubs he'd likely consider going to are bound to be PSG & Barca, neither of which we are going to do any favours for.

No chance. We'll do well to get half that. No club will spend that sort of money on a 31 year old.

See above, but I disagree, as I think PSG will. If he goes to Barca we can demand player(s) in exchange.

Maybe it would be more profiterole to sell Yaya now, because he'll brioche soon?

Agree and I'd add Monaco strongly to the equation too. Our friend Seluk is based in Monaco. Wouldn't surprise me in the least if in fact they're the club he's holding an offer from. They're the most likely to have the balls and the finances to try and get Yaya out of City. I don't think the Qatari's and PSG would pull a stunt like this or be party to it when it comes to City. Could be wrong though.

Re: Yaya Toure
