Why do fans turn against players when they hear that they want to leave a club, especially the foriegn ones, they are not being disloyal, they were never City fans!!.... even English players and City legends leave eventually, Franny Lee, Dennis Tueart, Peter Barnes, Ian Bishop, all left at some stage, the way it is done nowadays (Through the media, and agents) leaves a sour taste I agree, but clubs do that to players too.

players come, players go, but you dont act like this, its childish and cuntish. this man was thought of as a legend but no more for me im afraid, he can go

Re: Yaya Toure

Anyone else notice on SSN interviewing fans outside the Etihad this morning the fat rag wearing a red Tshirt saying he's a joke, he is on £300,000 per week.
He must be feeling proud now.

Re: Yaya Toure

Lol people still don't want to admit that player = agent. If all this was BS in these modern times Yaya could have already made vid and explained. Agents are cunts, always have been but they work in players interests and with their blessing, easy as that

The power and influence of the media is on full display in this thread. It is a shame people cannot rise above it.
That's about the 3rd time you've said this, but the media aren't doing anything.

Yaya and his agent have said everything, and anything the papers write are aimed at the laughing stock Yaya has made himself.

That is the point of all this, the media wants to ridicule the club and the player and influence the minds of the masses and there are people that are predisposed to fall for the trap. There has obviously been an incident on social media but you should be fully aware of how that thing works. You should also be aware that Yaya has not said anything himself about the incident, you should also be aware that agents are viruses in football.
Anyway I have repeated it and I will repeat it again, it will all be clear in due time so there is no need to let the media turn you or in many cases encourage you to make conclusions about the situation.
If you think the media are not doing anything or milking this rubbish misunderstanding then you are even a bigger Yaya fan than I actually thought.

It's a relatively quiet week, and the Yaya story is a bit of a Godsend for the media. It sells papers and radio time and they'll milk it until a better story intervenes.
Yaya's silence ends up being a void that gets filled with the fairly reasonable assumption that no denial means there's truth to it.

You're absolutely right, of course the media are keeping it going. You only need to read the papers and listen to the radio hear how the story has been kept going. Otherwise it would just have been reported yesterday and that's that. It'll probably die down whilst the media try and find new angles on it... like who is looking to buy him, or what other events have gotten to him, or even a bit of an exposé on his agent etc. And if another City player gets in the media, they'll start suggesting that the discontent behind the scenes has raised it's head again, and could this be due to FFP issues affecting salaries etc?

It's what the media do, and they do it well. And truth be told, we love it - just not so much when it's our players / club.

Re: Yaya Toure

I've seen decades of poor management of our club. Eventually we get owners who know how to run a business and boy oh boy do they know how to run a great business. Leave it up to them to sort this out. Trust them whatever they do, whether Yaya stays, or goes, or gets punished, or gets attention, or whatever. The owners know whats best. They've dealt with far more difficult situations than this. You don't run dozens of worldwide business worth billions of dollars without knowing a thing or two. Lets trust our owners. You have to admit they haven't done that bad so far have they?!

Has everyone turned against Milner?

No, because he was upfront and honest.

To be fair, they've had a lot of time to sort of peace in the Middle East with little success.
They're good, but they aren't THAT good!

The ranting and raving on this site says far more about the ranters and ravers than it does about their chosen subject of abuse.

Demichelis, Garcia, Dzeko, Mancini, Pellegrini, Tevez, Quinn....and on and on and on it goes.

If you were all as animated when we're actually playing at the Etihad, some of you might actually contribute something useful to our great club.

You sound very Raggish.

You probably called me a rag when I was standing up for Demichelis, or a red cnut when I was supporting Pellegrini earlier in the season, or a sad Munich bast8rd when I suggested that Garcia rarely gave the ball away.

To be a true blue, you have to hate Yaya Toure, call Stevan Jovetic the most expensive sick note in history, offer the most vicious abuse to anyone who dares leave City. And I was in the ground when a significant number of our great fans abused Paul Dickov on one of his returns to City. 'Member that?

There are a lot of clowns on here, and they're not excused simply because they're City fans.
