No it's not. It's from an interview he gave on Tuesday to France Football.

No, it wasn't. They even pasted the exact words he said then. But even than, Yaya aimes PSG. Really ...

Here you all go: <a class="postlink" href="http://www.espnfc.com/news/story/_/id/1690256/manchester-cty-yaya-toure-psg-move-possible?cc=5739" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.espnfc.com/news/story/_/id/1 ... le?cc=5739</a>

Now do the maths ...

Sorry mate ... but unless i've missed something the quotes are totally different.

Notwithstanding that ... do you really believe that France Football and Lequipe, two of the most read football websites in France are going to rehash six month old quotes and try and pass them off as new ? Going so far as to say "Toure said on Tuesday" when they meant "a Tuesday in January" ...

There's a concerted campaign from Toure and his agent to put himself in the shop window this summer. This will continue throughout the world cup and every time Toure's asked he'll say something like "we will see after the World Cup what happens".

It will be hard Tolm ..

How do you replace a one off ?

You cant but then again, how do we replace him in a few years when he is nowhere near as good and we don't have the benefit of a huge transfer fee for him and saving 3 years wages?

We will have to replace him anyways hes 31 now and sooner or later we will have to look for replacements for this dick

Re: Yaya Toure

Would love it if Yaya did force a move in the Summer and he was utter crap for whoever he signed for. Arrogant bastard, has any other player ever said "my statistics are incredible" ? Can't imagine even Ronaldo would put it that bluntly.

Re: Yaya Toure

If he gets a bad injury at the world cup, the club should send the fucker to Stepping Hill for his treatment when he gets back.

So go on, answer my question, which clubs' forums do you reckon would be this beacon of maturity that you seem to expect. I don't reckon any club's supporters would react any differently tbh. Just to clarify, if yaya had just said, I've done my bit and now I want a new challenge, I don't think many on here would have done anything other than thank him and wish him luck. But that isn't what he has done is it? When City fans switch on programmes that run nothing about football usually like Newsnight or HIGNFY and they are running items laughing that Yaya has been such an arsehole because your average person cannot fully get their head around such ludicrous behaviour then why on earth would it surpirse you to come on here to find people saying that Yaya has indeed been an arsehole. There's only one person at fault in all this, who has behaved in a pretty shameful manner but you would rather come on criticising supporters for being pissed off with him.

What sort of defence is it but justifying your own poor behaviour by saying "At least it's not as bad as xyz..." - I'll tell you, a pretty poor one. When you display that sort of logic then it quickly descends into a race to the bottom in which no one wins.

You're saying there's only one person at fault - however the only person responsible for their own actions is themselves. Not Ya Ya. Just because he's acting like a right pork chop doesn't mean you have to. Is it that hard to measure your response rather than saying I hope the **** rots in the EDS or other choice statements?

Well first of all I don't think I personally have responded in the ways you have mentioned although I have definitely voiced my displeasure at the way he has behaved but I like to think I have generally done it in a fairly measured way. But I can completely understand why people on here are furious with Yaya and I find it absolutely bizarre that in all of this, in everything that has happened, you have come on here to knock supporters who love the club and who have come on a forum to vent which is effectively utterly harmless. Some people might say you're a bit of a sanctimonious arsehole who is focusing on the wrong problem. Obviously not me though, I'm more measured than that.

So let me get this right.

People are disappointed by Toure's actions - and they have a right to vent. And according to you they're entitled to carry on and say whatever they want.

I'm disappointed by these peoples reactions - but I shouldn't voice my opinion.

And I'm the sanctimonious arsehole?
