A bit numb to it myself now.

If he wants a move he should say it the greedy so and so.
We will be lucky to get over 35m for him imo, just to old to demand more from a sale.

I think he should though all things considered leave, but greed has him pissing around so he keeps his loyalty bonus (i would not pay him it as he has shown disloyalty).
I also agree with Billy that he won't come back with the attitude...

He might be twat of the season, but he's without doubt player of the season.

Some on here would be so petty and small minded that they'd refuse to give him the trophy... like Leeds wanted to do to Alan Smith... SMALL TIME

Putting all this nonsense aside from the last week or so, while Yaya has undoubtedly been one of better performers, and 20+ goals from midfield - and a lot of them classics - is literally awesome (over used word nowadays), there were a few times when he didn't seem interested, so he doesn't get the Player of the Season for me. That accolade goes to David Silva IMO because he always shows up and makes us tick at least as much as Yaya, often playing the penultimate pass in the lead up to a goal or chance as well as the assists and that for me gives it to Merlin. Yaya only runner up for me.

Don't really disagree with that mate...

My beef is that Yaya won the vote by a landslide rightly or wrongly... but he did!

Now some are letting his bellyaching and childish behaviour off the field erase his performances from memory... 'Can I change my vote'... 'If he wins player of the year can we NOT give him the trophy' ... petty and small time.

Yeah, petty and small time, mate, sums up changing minds after all these sheyayagans. I don't want to look back on him negatively myself. Yes he's been extremely well paid and a spolied brat in the last week and a half but there have been so many moments that make us so happy. I look back on that goal v uniturd in the FA Cup Semi, the winner in the Cup final Newcastle away, all those thrilling runs etc etc the list is endless. Yeah, Yaya isn't as easy to warm to as a Zaba, Komps, Goat, Silva Andy Morrison etc (never has been as a personality for me) but he's been immense for us for four years. A true City legend, whether some people like it or not.

No, not at all. Despite what is being said on here there is no way we will get more £35M + for Yaya in these circumstances, so we would have to spend more than we get for him to replace him, with probably a worse player. Given our ffp transfer cap and our need for a centre back and a defensive midfielder, as well as a back up to Joe, then we would be struggling to make everything happen

Very hard to replace him with any one player as he brings goals, long and short range, free kicks, a great passing range, serious physicality and a directness that no one else has on the team plus he is deceptively quick with the ball at his feet and that's before you get to his big game mentality. He is also quite physically intimating which has probably won some midfield battles in the tunnel before matches.

We can replace him with players who bring some of his attributes but no one has quite his range. Without him next season we would need someone who can be direct and maybe someone else who can provide his physicality and someone else his passing.

Get the right price and move on because quite frankly he's behaving like a dick.

If he plays for us next season I wont be celebrating anything he does.

And what has happened doesn't change this reality. Still it doesn't have to be a like for like (good job really) we have holding midfielders we can go all out on a through and through attacking midfield dynamo. I'll leave it to the FIFA game players and world football watchers to suggest those.

I know more than the MEN do about what's going on ... City have named a price for Yaya. Lets see if anyone comes to the party.

What region is the price?

North of 40 million pounds. Although it's not been confirmed by anyone, I've been told that City have already rejected 35 million pounds from PSG.

For me he is worth more than £35M but if that is true, I would have taken it as its not just the £35M we get, its his wages as well for the next 3 years.

As a club we are ready to push on to the next level and that is going to take money and moving on players like Yaya at his age is exactly what we should be doing and im of the opinion, its exactly what we will do.
