Can anyone translate this

Apparently his comments were taken out of context??

Google Translate.

After yesterday said Tuesday that he would be honored to play Paris Saint-Germain, Yaya Touré (31 years, 35 matches and 20 goals in the Premier League this season) quickly corrected it. Asked Wednesday by RFI, the Ivorian midfielder that he had not planned to leave Manchester City for the moment.

"I take this opportunity given to me to put things in context. This is very important. I simply said that it was quite a pleasure to be courted player and it was an honor play for PSG. media have released my words out of context. There is nothing planned yet, says former Barcelona. Too much has been said and it annoyed me. "
There is a week Yaya Toure still threatened to leave Manchester City after a forgotten birthday ...

He wants a bit more Pat Cash. Happens in all works of life. Someone performs, feels important and looks to maximise his earnings. He's gone about it the wrong way and makes us and him look silly. Expect a compromise to be reached and he stays with us.

Another twist in this ever changing saga.
Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has hit back at suggestions he tried to initiate a move to Paris Saint-Germain.

The Ivorian’s future has been up in the air ever since his agent revealed he had been hurt by the lack of any birthday wishes on behalf of the club.

Quickly after that mysterious outburst, Toure was quoted saying he would be honoured to play for PSG one day, seemingly opening the door to a potential move.

But today, he has distanced himself from those comments, insisting it was the media blowing his words out of proportion.

“I take the opportunity that is given to me to put things in context. This is very important. I just said it was a pleasure to be a rather courted player and it was an honour to play for PSG. The media have released my words out of context. There are no plans at the moment. Too much has been said and it annoyed me,” he told RFI.

Toure’s behaviour has been very peculiar in recent weeks and it appears he is attempting to force a new, and crucially, extended contract.

At 31, his next contract may be his last so he and his agent seem to be scaring City into the best possible deal.

Toure is pivotal to the current City side, having contributed 20 goals and nine assists in the Premier League last season.
What I took from that the most is "There are no plans at the moment". "At the moment", Yaya? Really?

Considering he seems to be disgruntled that people are taking him out of context he keeps talking shit, contradicting himself daily and confusing himself, never mind everyone else, even though he said he wasn't going to say anything in the matter after the World Cup.

He seems to be thick as pig shit as well as a dick!

I have seen people throwing around figures like 40 or even 50 million when talking about how much we'll get for Yaya if we sell - sorry to say it but that is just dreaming. A 31 year old who has made it very public that he wants to leave will bring in 25 million I would say. In fact the whole benefit of this sorry saga is for him to be able bring his price down, both facilitating the move and probably earning him and his parody agent a nice signing on fee.

Zindine Zidane in 2001 age 29 went to Real Madrid for around 61m! 2001 if a club wants a player they will pay up 40m should be our bottom line
Absolutely no chance of getting anywhere near that amount
Even the £25 million being suggested seems on the high side for someone aged 31
£20 million wouldn't be a bad deal and getting £10 million a year off the wage bill,if indeed he did go.

I don't think you can compare Benatia and Toure in terms of their situation

One of them is at a top club that have just done a domestic double, and being paid a reported £200k a week

The other is at a club in Italy who are always going to play second fiddle to Juventus and the Milan clubs in terms of trophies and stacture, and the lad has got wind of a few top sides being in for him

To conclude, both just want a new start, ive just got a feeling one of them is money related and the other is probably more trophy related.

It's the kind of thing my brother (who's a rag) would say. "Haha look you're complaining about Toure but trying to sign Benatia who's doing the same thing". As I say to me it's bollocks. Fundamentally there are zero sporting reasons for Toure to leave City. I could name a dozen sporting reasons for Benatia to leave Roma ...

Seriously? So Benatia would come to City for less money to win trophies?

Its nearly always about money. If a player feels he can get more elsewhere he will try it on. Yaya has done it Benatia has done it. The only difference is the cake and that we support City.

And Yaya is a ****.

Re: Yaya Toure

If we sell him for £20M - £25M - how much are we looking at paying for a replacement if we do decide to buy another CM player?

Not an exact comparison but how much will Lallana cost Liverpool? - as much as we get for Yaya?

Its the salary saving of £10M -- £11M a year that may decide it.

Re: Yaya Toure

I have a lot of sympathy for players being quoted out of context, and the media are very manipulative in using out of context comments...

However, plenty of players have made things clear when this has happened with a simple "I fully intend to be at City next season and I'm looking forward to it'. It shouldn't be necessary, but it works and calms things down.

It's not unheard of for players to make such statements and still leave, so it doesn't guarantee anything, but the only time they refrain from calming down the situation is when it suits them for the hype to continue.

That's the situation with Toure. He could calm it, and chooses not to.... because it suits him.
